Healing Yourself During Difficult Times

gaia

In the last few years, I have been drawn to many different speakers on the topic of “Healing Yourself” that challenge my norms of thinking and feeling. Some of them include Gregg Braden, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Lynne McTaggert, Mabel Katz, Dr. Hew Len and Dr. Masuru Emoto.

In spite of being challenged, their stories resonate with a lot of people now.  Why is that?  Deep inside of us, we all know what it is like to be superhuman or super being.

In a gentle way you can shake the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Inside of us is a spark of imagination so BIG that we can change the world with our thoughts.  Every one of us at one time or another has had something that didn’t make sense and challenge our view of the world.

What do all of these teachers have in common? Healing is an “inside job”. What does this mean exactly? We are 100% responsible for our feelings. As Mabel Katz would say, this is not to say you should feel guilty for feeling it, rather that you need to be “responsible for your feelings”.

The Feeling Is The Prayer

One of the most staggering videos on the power of our consciousness to heal is visually shown here in this video at 7:58 . A woman with a cancerous tumor which can clearly be seen on ultrasound, is healed in real time. In less than 3 minutes, her tumor was gone.

How is this possible? She changed the story of herself and her body. They didn’t chant with the intention to “kill the cancer”, they chanted with the intention that she was “already healed”.  The key to this story is that the healing already happened – its done!

Why is this significant? Because it teaches us that we are responsible for our health and wellbeing. As well, it changes our vision of how healing occurs.

In the above video, there is reference that although anyone can learn to heal themselves, it can be done with greater ease with the help of others. This is because they created a “field” of energy.

As Bruce Lipton would say, we are NOT victims of our genes. All humans, animals and plants communicate with vibration. We are interacting “waves” with each other.

The conscious mind is responsible for our dreams and wishes. The subconscious mind is the program that is running in the background. What if we could take the wishes and desires and turn them into the program running in the background?  This is the question Bruce asks us.

It is clear that so many spiritual teachers are saying exactly the same thing in slightly different ways.

Conscious mind = creative mind, our uniqueness
Subconscious mind = old tape player that records the program and plays it back (womb – age 7)

The Power of Ho’oponopono for Healing

No one wanted the job I did with the criminally insane. They were averaging about one psychologist a month. But I got asked. We had about 25-30 people. Half of them would be in shackles at the ankles or the wrists because they were dangerous. They could either kick you or slam you. Everyone would walk with their back toward the wall so that they wouldn’t get struck. They had no family visits. No one could leave the building. A year and a half later there was none of that. There were people going out on bus rides. Nobody in shackles. The level of medication dropped. What did I do? I worked on myself. I took 100% responsibility.” – Dr Hew Len, Shamanic Wisdomkeepers

I Love You, I’m Sorry, Please Forgive Me and Thank You

In this case, Dr. Hew Len practiced on himself to recognize the shadow in himself. The beauty of this is deeply profound.

The following video of Dr. Hew Len addresses the inner child through a beautiful meditation.

Isn’t it amazing that we all have the ability to heal ourselves in whichever way we choose? We are not victims of our genes or our environment. It is that we need to accept who we are “in the moment” and choose to feel the feeling of being completely healed. Healing can occur at any time, any place for any reason, because we are that powerful.

Wellness Travel For Inner Healing

Wellness travel allows us to get away from some of the things that may be bothering us and gives us the necessary space to get in touch with nature and to help us resolve inner conflict.

Many wellness travel resorts are creating retreats or stays that embody some of the teachings from this blog.  For anyone seeking a wellness travel package that involves self-healing, please contact us for a customized wellness travel package.

We can choose to feel the feeling of being perfectly healthy, whole and balanced at any time or any place on the planet.  When we do feel whole, healthy and happy, the world feels that around us.  Our healing serves up healing for others.  Thus, caring for our inner child and visualizing the very best version of ourselves, creates healing vibrations to everyone around us  and beyond.

That is the profound effect of self-love.
